Overview

Copy an existing restriction that displays in the Trade Restrictions grid. The copy functionality is helpful, for example, to create the same or similar restriction for another account or client. It assists by pre-populating the fields. Then, you need only change a few settings to create the new restriction.

Copy a Trade Restriction

1. Select Trade > Trading Tools > Trade Restrictions.
2. Select a restriction in the grid. Its restriction details display below the grid.

3. Select Copy.

   The copied restriction reflects the original restriction, with the exception of Restriction Name, which must be unique. The name of the copy defaults to *COPY OF followed by the original Restriction Name. You cannot save this restriction if you do not change its default name.

4. Enter any changes to the restriction. (For definitions, see Create a Restriction.)
5. Select Save.
