Overview

Copy an existing restriction that displays in the Trade Restrictions grid. The copy functionality is helpful, for example, to create the same or similar restriction for another account or client. It assists by pre-populating the fields. Then, you need only change a few settings to create the new restriction.

Copy a Trade Restriction

1. Select a restriction in the grid.

   - Its details display below the grid.

2. Select Copy.

   The copied restriction reflects the original restriction, with the exception of Restriction Name, which must be unique. The name of the copy defaults to *COPY OF followed by the original Restriction Name. You cannot save this restriction if you do not change this default name.

3. Enter changes to the restriction. (For information, see Create a Restriction.)
4. Select Save.
