Overview
NOTE:
- The Balances Tab displays both intraday (in bold) and prior day account balances.
- The View Principal and Income Balances link displays if the selected account is
an account in any of Fidelity's three Trustee Services programs (Administrative Trustee Services, Agent for Trustee Services, and Fiduciary Reporting Services).
Select this link to display
the breakout of core cash into the Principal Cash and Income Cash components for the selected account.
The Balances Tab provides detailed information about an account to which you are authorized; this information is not available at the Client or Group level or across multiple accounts. The details that display differ based on
the account selected - Fidelity Brokerage/Trust Account, a Fidelity Annuity Account, a Fidelity Life Insurance Account, a CGF Donor Advised Fund Account,
or an Fidelity 403(b)/401(k) Account. The As of information at the right of the screen indicates the date and time of the contents that displays; select the Refresh link to display intraday
values for some account balances (if available).

Viewing Account Balances
- Perform a search to locate the desired account.
- Select an account entry in the search results and select Balances from the flyout menu. The Balances Tab for the selected account displays.

Fidelity Brokerage/Trust Account Balances
Account Totals
Field |
Definition |
Acct Net Worth |
Displays the net worth of the brokerage account, retirement account, annuity contract, or Donor-Advised Fund.
- For a brokerage account: The net worth is the current liquidation value (the net market value of all long and short positions in the account less trade debit balances). Net worth does not include any securities in legal.
- For a retirement account: The net worth is the total of all the participant's source balances in that retirement plan.
- For an annuity contract: The net worth is the total contract balance.
- For a Donor-Advised Fund: For purposes of the Fidelity Charitable Gift Fund program, net worth is the balance of the donor's Giving Account. The balance does not represent assets held by the client, rather it represents irrevocable
charitable contributions made by the client to a 501(c)(3) public charity.

Net Cash |
Displays the cash available for trading in the cash account. Net Cash = Core Money Market + Unsettled Cash. |
Core Money Market
|
Displays the market value of the Core Fund account. The Core Fund is used for all of your brokerage transaction activity. As transactions settle, this account is debited or credited. |
House Call/Surplus |
Displays the margin amount available to borrow in the account that is above the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) minimum requirement for accounts that borrow against margin. |

Available to Purchase Securities

Cash |
Displays the dollar amount available to purchase securities in the cash account. This amount includes the core account plus any cash credits in the account. It does not include margin cash available or non-core money market funds. NOTE: All buy trades are debited and all sell trades are credited from the Cash Available to Purchase Securities balance as soon as the trade executes, not when the trade settles. |
Margin |
Displays the dollar amount available to purchase marginable stock securities without adding money to the account. |
Non-Marginable Securities |
Displays the total dollar amount of non-marginable securities that can be purchased using available cash and/or buying power. |
Corporate Bond Buying Power |
Displays the dollar amount available to purchase marginable corporate bond securities without adding money to the account. |
Municipal Bond Buying Power |
Displays the dollar amount available to purchase marginable municipal bond securities without adding money to the account. |
Government Bond Buying Power |
Displays the dollar amount available to purchase marginable government bond securities without adding money to the account. |

Cash Account

Cash Market Value |
Displays the market value of all securities held in the cash account and the Money Market. |
Unsettled Cash |
Displays the amount of unsettled cash (cash in an interim state) in the brokerage account. A negative sign (-) and red text denote a debit. |
Running Collected Balance |
Displays the maximum amount that the customer can withdraw from the account (for example, covering checks written against an account, bill payments, debit card transactions, wire transfers, or Money Line withdrawals). This figure includes
the Cash Collected Balance plus the cash available to borrow on margin. To determine the amount that the customer could use to purchase non-marginable securities or to meet a margin requirement on option positions, add the Collected Balance
and the Pending Balance (which represents any unsettled cash deposits). |

Margin Account

Margin Market Value |
Displays the market values of all securities in the cash available to withdraw. |
Margin Balance |
Displays the balance that the client owes Fidelity or the balance due to the client for activity in the margin account. This balance reflects the margin market value minus any margin equity in the brokerage account. |
Available to Borrow |
Displays the dollar amount available to purchase non-marginable securities or to withdraw from the account as a cash loan. Includes both settled trade date balances and balances that have not settled. |
Margin Equity |
Displays the value of all margin positions in the account less any margin debit balance plus any margin credit balance. |
Margin Equity % |
Displays the equity percentage of the margin market value of the account. (The margin equity divided by the total margin market value.) |

Displays the assets which the insurance company has set aside to provide income for the annuitant's lifetime or the guaranteed period, whichever is longer. The Insurance Company Assets are not available for withdrawal from
the contract. The only assets available for withdrawal from the contract, if any, would be displayed in the Liquidity Value field. |
Liquidity Value |
Displays the withdrawal value, if any, which is the total amount that can be taken out of the income annuity during the withdrawal period. |

Fidelity Life Insurance Account Balances

Displays the total value of the current balances in the investment options, the fixed account, and the loan collateral account less any loan balance and charges due. |
Death Benefit Amount |
Displays the current dollar amount that would be paid to the beneficiary on the death of the insured. |
Face Amount |
Displays the current dollar amount of insurance on the policy. |
Loan Balance |
Displays the principal amount plus accrued interest due under all loans currently outstanding against this policy. |
Policy Account Value |
Displays the total value of all the investment options (sub-accounts) plus the fixed account. |

Displays the total of all source balances in the life insurance account. |

Displays the total amount of grants to IRS-qualified public charities that were reviewed and approved by the Trustees of the Fidelity Charitable Gift Fund and distributed from the account during the calendar year. |

Displays the total charges or credits made to an account due to activity or policy during the calendar year. |
