- Launch Wealthscape Profiler
- Authenticate a User
- Extend a User Authentication
- Remove a User Authentication
The Wealthscape Profiler Service must be installed for you to schedule exports.
Once installed, you must authenticate your signon credentials – and then re-authenticate on a regular basis. The system does not notify you when re-authentication is required; so, be sure to make a note of when this must be performed next. Although the token has a 90-day expiration, Fidelity recommends that you re-authenticate your signon information every 60 days.
As part of the installation, a shortcut to the application displays on your computer's desktop and an icon displays in the system tray.
Note
If installing a new version of the Wealthscape Profiler after using a previous version, you must re-authenticate all of your users.
Use either of the following to launch Wealthscape Profiler:
The user ID with authentication must be the same as the ID that created the profile. The Wealthscape Profiler supports only one installation per user ID. If the Profiler is installed on multiple machines, they cannot have authenticated users in common.
Enter your Wealthscape signon credentials.
After you authenticate, a Retrieved authorization code message displays. Do not close this message; it closes automatically. The user ID now displays in the list of authenticated users.
Once you authenticate a user, you must re-authenticate that user periodically to continue automated delivery of files. Upon authentication, file delivery is enabled for 90 days. Therefore, at a minimum, re-authenticate users within this time period. Fidelity recommends re-authenticating every 60 days to ensure that authentication never lapses.
This process revokes the existing authorization of the selected user, and then prompts you to reauthorize the user. If your Profiler has multiple authenticated users, make sure you select the correct user ID to avoid accidentally revoking another user's authentication.
