Message Center is a repository for the real-time notification of operations within the platform. The time to complete some operations, such as the creation of a criteria-based group, may be lengthy enough that it causes your browser to time out. In this case, the status of the criteria-based group creation would not be received. Message Center enables you to continue working in Wealthscape without waiting for the operation to finish. Notification is posted in the Message Center when the operation completes.
Message Center can contain a maximum of 250 messages. Upon receipt of 225 messages, a warning displays that messages will automatically be deleted when 250 messages are received. When 250 messages are received, the oldest to newest read messages will delete first, followed by oldest unread messages.
Note
If a connection is not established (either when initially establishing the connection with the server or when there is a lost connection due to a network problem), a red x and the text "Messaging Unavailable" displays.
A Message Center icon (envelope) displays on the top right of the main application window. The icon is green and the link active when a message is received.
Select the New Messages link.

If no messages are available, "No New Messages" displays.
In the Messages column, select a bold (unread) entry.
Based on the contents of the message, additional action may be necessary (especially in the case of an error or failure indicator). Or, the message may be purely informational with no action required.
