If entitled, share a rebalance you created with other users at your firm.
A hierarchy is in place to control access to objects on the platform based on a structure defined by your firm. A user, along with that user's authorized clients and accounts, belongs to a node. Generally, users have visibility from their nodes downward.
View your assigned structure in the Available Locations and People section. Initially, the structure is collapsed and only the highest node in the structure displays. Expand the highest node, and then continue to expand the remaining structure to view all nodes and individuals that comprise a node.
Review the Available Locations and People section to determine whether a rebalance is already shared with other users. You cannot share a rebalance with nodes or individuals in the structure that are grayed out since these are not accessible to you.
While you can share a rebalance you created, with the exception of a system administrator at your firm, only you can edit or delete the rebalance.
To share a rebalance
In the Available Locations and People section, expand one or more nodes.
- When a node expands, check boxes display in the left column.
- Arrows indicate whether you can continue to expand a node.
- Depending on the hierarchy, individuals may list under a node.
Select the check boxes of one or more nodes and/or individuals to share the rebalance with.
- When you select a node, all individuals in the node are selected.
- To not share with a node or an individual, clear its check box.
- Continue to select nodes and/or individuals to share the rebalance.
Select Save & Share.
- Review your selections in the Shared With section.
Note
