Overview

If entitled, share a report with another report user within your firm. There is no need to recreate the report or wait for Fidelity to share the report.

Once shared, the report displays on the recipient's All Reports tab and is designated in the Type column as User Shared. Both Personal and User Shared reports can also be found using Platform Search.

User Shared reports enable access to the report's layout (columns and filters). The data associated with the report, however, is not shared. For example, the user sharing the report and the recipient of the report may not be authorized to the same account information. Data in the shared report is based on user entitlements. Report features such as alerts and schedules are also not shared.

Although you can share the same report with multiple recipients, you may only share one report with one recipient at a time. If the same report is shared more than once with the same person, the most recent report will overwrite any prior version. Additionally, if the recipient already has a report of the same name, the report user will need to change the report name prior to sharing.
