Overview

If entitled, organize accounts by individuals or households known as "clients." For example, you may create a client called The Smith Family. This client may contain three individuals: John Smith, his wife, Mary Smith, and his son Jeff Smith. While John is specified as the Primary Contact, Mary and Jeff are also members of this defined client. Each individual may have his or her own accounts, but these accounts also are part of the client called The Smith Family. Clients can be multi-custodial, meaning they can contain accounts held at Fidelity, as well as accounts held away.

Search for clients to which you are authorized. You can search by client name or by client SSN/TIN. After you locate a client, you can navigate to its client information.

Different lists of your authorized clients are available. The availability of a list depends on your entitlements and how you choose to customize the window (Customize the Window):

  • Recently Viewed
Clients you have accessed during the current session. This link is disabled if you have not accessed any clients in the session.

  • All
All Clients within your firm to which you are authorized. This list appears only if you customize the window to show "All Clients." You can also elect to include in this list investors that contain only closed accounts.

  • My Clients
All client relationships created under your user ID. This list appears only if you customize the window to show "My Clients."

  • Results
Most recent set of search results for the current session. This link appears after you perform a search. When you navigate away from the window and then return, the results of your last search still populate the window.

    Note
When your Wealthscape ID is associated with more than 2,000 clients, if you have chosen to display them, the All and My Clients links will not display until your search retrieves 2,000 or fewer results.

Search for Clients

If you already know the client name or SSN/TIN, simply enter that information and navigate directly to information for that client.

  • When your ID is associated with 2,000 or fewer clients, a type-ahead feature is available.
  • When your ID is associated with more than 2,000 clients, All (clients) and My Clients will not display until your search retrieves 2,000 or fewer results.
