Delivery Options Tab


Overview

Incoming alerts are delivered automatically to the Current Alerts Tab. For each alert to which you subscribe, you can use the Delivery Options Tab to set up and maintain any additional delivery destinations, which can be from one to three secure e-mail addresses. After adding a destination, you can modify it or delete it at any time.

NOTE: One of the decisions you make when adding an alert subscription is whether you want the alert delivered to an optional e-mail destination in addition to the Current Alerts Tab. You can add, edit, or modify the Delivery Options by selecting the Modify Delivery Options link on the Alert Conditions screen when managing your subscriptions on the Subscriptions Tab. However, you may find it helpful to add your delivery options designations before adding your subscriptions.

Adding a Destination

  1. Select the Delivery Options Tab.
  2. Select the Add link in the E-Mail section of the screen.
  3. Enter the e-mail address of the destination in the Address/Number field.
  4. Enter a unique name (up to 32 characters) to identify the destination in the Display Name field.
  5. After completing the Address/Number and Display Name fields, if desired, select the checkbox associated with Apply this delivery option to all subscribed alerts.
  6. When complete, select the Save button. The Delivery Options Tab displays the new entry.

Modifying a Destination

  1. Select the Delivery Options Tab.
  2. Select the Modify link associated with the destination (e-mail address) you wish to edit.
  3. Make your desired changes.
  4. When finish making the edits, select the Save button. Alerts associated with the original destination now are associated with the modified destination, which displays on the Delivery Options Tab.

Deleting a Destination

  1. Select the Delivery Options Tab.
  2. Select the Delete link associated with the destination (e-mail address) you wish to delete.
  3. Select the Delete < E-Mail Address > link to confirm the deletion. The destination is removed from the Delivery Options Tab. Alerts are no longer sent to the deleted destination. However, they continue to go to the default Current Alerts Tab and to any other remaining destinations (if any) specified in subscriptions.
