Accessed from the sidebar, Notifications delivers a consolidated list of urgent items in one location – which eliminates having to monitor multiple Wealthscape tools. Urgent items represent service items (Service Requests, Other Requests, Service Messages, Alerts) generated within the last 15 calendar days, which is configurable by your firm administrator.
Consider Notifications a "to-do" list that portrays an item's current status and summary. Links navigate you directly to the tool in Wealthscape where the item can be reviewed or resolved.

Notifications is located on the sidebar, which means you can access your actionable items from anywhere in Wealthscape. User entitlements, profile assignments, and account authorizations elected by your firm determine access to an item, account, or tool.
Notifications refreshes systematically every two to five minutes when open. The refresh adds new items and updates existing items.
Note
Use the subscription features within Reports and Alert Manager to subscribe to
those items and, thus, receive those Notifications.
Quickly access Notifications by selecting its icon on the sidebar. Only the most relevant items display. For example:
For items related to alerts subscribed to by the user, only the latest status displays. This eliminates multiple statuses for the same item.
Firm-based Service Messages (messages not specific to an account) are excluded from Notifications.
For Service Messages in Awaiting Client Review status, only items where a response is either Required or Optional display. For these items, either a Response Required or Response Optional indicator displays in the summary section of the item instead of the item status. Messages where a response is not allowed are excluded from Notifications, but are available through other channels like Service Center or Alert Manager.
Note
A Notifications icon also displays on Account Cartridge when an account is associated with
one or more urgent items. Select this icon to display just those items specific to the account.

On the sidebar, select an icon:

Bell | Opens and closes Notifications. A counter indicates the total number of items. This number updates as items are added or expired. If you have more than 99 items, 99+ displays. An orange dot indicates when one or more new items have been added since you last signed into Wealthscape. The appearance of the dot indicates the availability of new items:
Notifications maintains two separate lists – each with a counter that shows its total number of read and unread items. At the top of Notifications, from the Display drop-down list, select:

Filter Items by Text
Group and Sort Items
Choose predefined keywords to view just those items related to the keyword. For example, select Response Due to view only those items where a response is required. Keywords that display are based on the current contents of your Notifications.
An indicator next to a keyword shows the number of items that match that keyword criteria:

At the top of Notifications, from Quick Filters, select a keyword.
- Just those items represented by the keyword display.
- Select All to display all your urgent items.

Up to a maximum of 200 items can display.
When the number of items exceeds this maximum, you can search for occurrences of text across the items. This helps to reduce the number of items or to focus on specific items that contain the text. Consider filtering items that cannot be grouped, such as account short name or registration. Partial values are allowed.
Filtering does not examine the content of notes.
To filter items by text
In the Filter box, enter the text to find, at least two characters.
- Matching text is underlined.
- Expand an item to see its underlined text. (Expand Items)

Group related items, and then sort results within the groups.
The availability of a grouping option is based on the characteristics of your current items. For example, if you choose to group by Service Category, items are grouped only within those categories for which you have items.
Note
When total items exceed 200, grouping is disabled and sort is set to Newest on Top, which you
cannot change.
Indicate how to group items:
Account #
Group by account number in ascending order. Items missing an account number are grouped
under the heading, "No Account #."
Classification
Group by event classification, where available:
- Approvals = Items your firm is responsible for approving
- Exceptions = Items of critical importance requiring action
- Others = Items related to Alert Manager and Report subscriptions
Status
Group by status, which is applicable to a source tool.
Service Category
Group by Service Center categories, where available.
Items are collapsed into the chosen group.
Indicate how to sort items within the group based on the date and time the item was last updated:
Newest on top
Oldest on top
Flag an item for follow-up. This designation consolidates your flagged items for quick access. Items flagged in Service Center also display here.
Flagging an item does not remove the item from Notifications; however, the item may not appear in both Notifications and Flagged items lists. An item may be removed from Notifications while remaining on Flagged Items. Unflag the item to remove it from Flagged Items.
Flagged Items are unique to your Wealthscape ID.

Dismiss one or all items at a time, with just one click.
Dismissed items move from Inbox to Dismissed where they are removed after three calendar days. Or, undo a dismissed item, one at a time, to return it back to Inbox. Like Flagged Items, dismissed items are unique to your Wealthscape ID.

Notifications display as unread (bold) or read (not bold). This visual style applies to the status, account number, and account name associated with an item. Opening (or expanding) an individual item is the only way to mark an item as read.
