When you create and then run a rebalance, it generates a list of orders proposed to bring the portfolio (client, group, accounts, or household) back into alignment with the model. Find all rebalances created and/or run either by you or by other members of your firm on the Saved Rebalances window. Filter the list of rebalances and choose one to run, edit, or process its proposed orders.
The following columns help you to determine the rebalance status and possible next steps:
Status
Complete
Rebalance completed processing; proposed orders are available to view but remain listed in PM&R. (View Proposed Orders)
Fail
Rebalance failed; no orders were generated. To address, edit the rebalance by reviewing its on-screen error messages. (View or Edit a Rebalance)
Pre-Start or Start or Suspended
Rebalance is currently in progress. Continue to monitor the status of this rebalance. To refresh the window, above the table, select the Refresh (circular) icon.

-- (Double Dashes)

By default, rebalances list in order by edit date, newest to oldest. You can choose another column to sort the list.
Note
If you did not create a rebalance, you may only view its proposed orders – you cannot edit or send the orders.

For most options:

Choose a rebalance to run. This is helpful if you saved a rebalance but have not yet run the rebalance.
There is no limitation to the number of times you may run a rebalance. If you already ran the rebalance, but want to run it again, orders generated by the new rebalance will overwrite orders generated by the last rebalance. Also, orders generated by the new rebalance are based on the latest conditions such as account balances, model assignment, restrictions, and prices.
Note
You can run a rebalance created by another user only if you are authorized to access the rebalance target (account) and the model used in the rebalance.
To run a rebalance
Select the check box to the left of the rebalance to run (do not select the Name link).
Select Run Rebalance.
- If you selected Liquidate, all tradeable Fidelity positions will be sold.
Go to: View Rebalance Results
View the orders proposed to bring the portfolio back into alignment with the assigned model. In addition to proposed orders, find details on the Rebalance Results window that explain the outcome of the rebalance:
You may also edit a listed order or create blocks and allocations from the listed orders. When satisfied with the results of the rebalance, your next step is to send the proposed orders to the Wealthscape Orders Unsent window where you can complete your review before sending the orders to the market.
To view proposed orders
Select the check box to the left of the rebalance (do not select the Name link).
Select View Orders.
Go to: View Rebalance Results
