Trade Report Parameters

NOTE:

The Trade Report Parameters screen contains the criteria you can specify when running the Order Status or Order Ticket Report.

Accessing the Trade Report Parameters

NOTE: In addition to the process described below, you can access the Trade Report Parameters directly by selecting the Report icon above the Unsent Orders List or Sent Orders List.

  1. Select Reports & Alerts > Reports > Legacy Reports. The Main Reports Screen displays.
  2. If the section is not already expanded, select the plus icon in front of the Trade Reports entry in the Table of Contents to display the list of reports available to you. NOTE: The icon changes to a minus.
  3. Select the Orders List link to display the Sent Orders List where you will run the report.
  4. If you wish to include only specific orders in your report, select (highlight) them in the Sent or Unsent Orders List prior to selecting the Generate Reports icon.
  5. Select the Reports icon above the list to display the Report Parameters screen.
  6. Specify the parameters for either the Order Status or the Order Ticket Report.
  7. When you finish making your selections, select the Run Report button.
  8. A pop-up confirmation screen displays notifying you the report is being created and you will receive a message in the Message Center when it is ready for viewing on the Main Reports Screen.
    Select the Close link to close the pop-up.
    OR
    Select the View Report Status button to close the pop-up and display the Main Reports Screen.

Parameters

Parameter Definition
Format Used to specify the format in which the report will be created and viewed. NOTE: Selections are: PDF and Excel. If you select the Order Ticket Style and the Excel Format, the report provides a Trade Blotter of the orders in the Sent and Unsent Order Lists.
Generate Report For Used to specify the orders to include in the report. NOTE: Selections are: x Selected Orders (where x indicates the number of orders highlighted in the list), All Orders, Current Day Orders, and All Orders for an Account, Group, or Client. If you select All Orders for an Account, Group, or Client, a drop-down list (used to select the Account, Client, or Group) and an associated text field display along with an Account, Group, and Client Lookup link.
Report Name Used to specify a user-defined name for the report, which may help you to identify it more easily.
Sort Order Used to specify the sorting of the orders in the report. NOTE: Selections are: Account Number, Short Name, and Order Date. Short Name reflects the preference you establish on the Short Name Display screen (User Menu > User Preferences > Short Name Display), which is either FBSI Short Name or Custom Short Name. If neither checkbox is selected, the value defaults to FBSI Short Name. If both checkboxes are selected, the value defaults to Custom Short Name.
Style Used to specify the trade report you wish to run. NOTE: Selections are: Order Status and Order Ticket.
